Figures of Speech
Any intentional deviation from literal statement or common usage that emphasizes, clarifies, or embellishes both written and spoken language is called a figure of Speech. OR A figure of speech is a word or phrase that means something more or something other than it seems to say. There are so many figures of Speech, Some of them are given below: 1.
